Somatic Therapy and Nervous System Care

Healing begins with feeling safe, deeply seen, and understood.

My approach to therapy is grounded in nervous system regulation, somatic therapy, and gentle trauma processing. I support clients in understanding how stress, trauma, anxiety, and painful life experiences can become held in the body and nervous system, often shaping emotions, relationships, patterns of behaviour, and overall well-being long after the original experiences have passed.

I work gently and at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Clients are never asked to relive traumatic experiences or share more than their nervous system is ready for. Instead, therapy focuses on creating safety, regulation, and the conditions needed for lasting healing and change.

I also draw on my lived experiences with war-induced childhood trauma, chronic stress and anxiety, the early loss of my parents, health-related challenges, and fertility struggles to support clients on their path toward healing and greater nervous system regulation. These experiences have deepened my capacity to connect with compassion, sensitivity, and understanding, particularly with individuals navigating trauma, grief, chronic stress, or emotionally overwhelming life experiences. I combine this personal understanding with neuroscience-informed and gentle trauma-processing approaches to help clients move toward greater relief, resilience, safety, and lasting change.

Healing Begins in The Body

Modern neuroscience and trauma therapy affirm what somatic traditions have long known: the body leads the way in healing. Nearly 80% of communication between the brain and body flows upward—from the body to the brain; shaping how we feel, respond, and regulate. This means our nervous system is constantly informing our sense of safety, connection, and ease.

In my Toronto-based practice, I offer somatic therapy that gently supports nervous system regulation and trauma resolution. Rather than forcing insight or revisiting painful memories, we invite the body to soften, release, and reorient toward safety. Healing doesn’t have to be re-traumatizing; it can be quiet, embodied, and deeply empowering.

I work with individuals, couples, and families who are ready to move beyond coping and into transformation. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relational challenges, neurodivergence, or the lingering effects of trauma, I offer a sanctuary where your nervous system can exhale and your inner wisdom can emerge. Together, we co-create pathways that honor your unique story and support your capacity to thrive.
